Book Signing in Buckden

A great weekend was had at West Winds in Buckden. The weather seemed determined to spoil things on Saturday with heavy rain showers thoughout the day and this meant the demo was difficult to finish, however, Sunday proved to be a lovely day well and the tea roon had its busiest day so far and Les managed to finish the painting which was a view of Lynn's garden. Bronte enjoyed her walks up towards Buckden Pike and part of the Dales Way too and a little saunter up Buckden Ghyll before we returned home full of home made fayre of the first quality, perfect. Three full days at this year's show was enjoyed by all who visited especially the artists who found time to chat to visitors to the Art Show about their work. Next year this will change and they will be actually demonstrating their techniques. So if you are passing please call in and see how it is done. The Book 'Yorkshire in Watercolour'
